Open Casting call for "change lanes to pass" PSA 

 

Bike Walk Mississippi is now casting for its "Change lanes to pass" Bicycle Safety Public Service Announcement (PSA).  

 

**Filming will take place on Monday, October 12th from 2:30pm - 6:30pm**

 

The PSA will be shot on roads surrounding the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Brandon, Mississippi and will include both film and photographs.  

No acting experience necessary but ALL participants must be at least moderately comfortable riding a bicycle! 

 

Now casting the following: 

 

  • All ethnicities, Males, Ages 65-75 

  • All ethnicities, Females, Ages 65-75

  • African American Males, Ages 30-50  

  • African American Females, Ages 30-50

  • Caucasian, Asian and Hispanic Males, Ages 18-25  

  • Caucasian, Asian and Hispanic Females, Ages 18-25

  • All ethnicities, Male child, Ages 8-18 (Adult must accompany children and sign release)

  • All ethnicities, Female child, Ages 8-18 (Adult must accompany children and sign release)

 

All those cast in the PSA video will be part of a media campaign that includes film, print and social media and must be willing to sign a photo release. Bike Walk Mississippi is a (501c3) nonprofit, all roles in the PSA are considered volunteers.  (*Participants must also be able to bring their own bicycle and helmet with them on 10/12/2015). 

 

If you would like to participate, please submit an email to bikewalk@bikewalkmississippi.org with your name, age and a RECENT photo.  Deadline to apply is close of business, Monday, October 5th, 2015.  We will contact you with details regarding the shoot if selected.
